Cera stoves pembrokeshire

Cera stoves have developed some new and exiting stoves. The Quadrotherm and Roundotherm models have a masonry heat recovery and heat retention zone above the firebox. The flue gases zigzag around masonry blocks before exiting.  The masonry stores the heat long after the fire has gone out.

The Cera Quadrotherm is a hybrid masonry stove that can be installed in a single day or less. After lighting the Quadrotherm, two loads of logs with a total of approx 9kg will slowly release heat for 12 hours.

The tall firebox allows most of the secondary burn occur in the stove rather than in the flue, as is the case with short stoves. The extra large glass is mounted from the inside hence no frame is visible. The top and sides of the stove are boarded with schamotte panels which weigh around 400kg. The outside of the stove is decorated with ceramic tiles in 3 colours or black polished slate.

The stove will heat an area up to 150 m3 and has a fuel efficiency of over 84%.

Stores up to 12 hours of heat after burning just 9kg of fuel.

Convection vents at the top of the stove allow it to heat room with convection currents of hot air like traditional convection stoves

Once the fire has burnt out, or at any time during the combustion, the convection vents at the top of the stove can be closed so the stove emits long wave heat radiation akin to ceramic/masonry stoves. Long wave heat radiation is far more comfortable and travels further.
